Leonardo da Vinci, a great Master of the ages, was an initiate of the Hermetic Philosophy. A student of these principles, Leonardo is known to be one of the "enlightened ones". Being a Gnostic tradition, Hermeticism is a school of ideas that focuses on the pursuit of empirical knowledge pertaining to spiritual mysteries. Hermetic teachings have influenced the philosophies of all races, nations and peoples. They come from ancient Egypt, home of the Pyramids and birthplace of all hidden wisdom and mystic teachings. From this secret doctrine all nations have borrowed.
The surviving writings of Hermeticism are known as the Corpus Hermetica, which is composed of a series of letters from a master, Hermes Trismegistus, in which he tries to enlighten his disciple. These letters were lost to the western world after classical times, but survived in the Byzantine libraries. In the Fifteenth century, the letters were rediscovered and translated into Latin by the court of Cosimo de Medici (grandfather to Lorenzo de’ Medici, the patron of Leonardo da Vinci among other renaissance artists). These letters were so influential during the time that they acted as a catalyst in the development of Italian Renaissance thought and culture. In Leonardo’s day, the Gnostics truly rebelled in thought.

Each of these Hermetic principles exists in nature, and applies directly to our mental, emotional, and spiritual states. They give us a map of hidden territory both within and without, above and below, the micro and macro. As dreamers, we imagine a higher realm of aspiration and consciousness than today's standard norms. We seek to tune our own vibrations to the highest frequencies possible. At such high frequencies we experience the flow of being in harmony with the Universe.
As we contemplate what the future of humanity will look like, we are strong advocates for conscious creation and self reflection.
